If you are buying the Rinnai combi boilier I would highly recommend ordering this kit a well. You would spend a lot of time trying to fit and manufacture a piece like this

Obvious that I received a used set of valves. Shut off handles looked like somebody mangled them with pliers.Update. Ordered another valve set, thinking the original set was a one off and it was the same issue. Box shipped with “Returned” written on it. Valves looked used and was missing the pressure relief valve.

This valve kit is an excellent necessity to install to Tankless Water Heaters or Boilers to facilitate the yearly Lime Reduction flushing required. Most installations with omit this kit. It is OPTIONAL but highly recommended. In order to keep your heat exchangers within your unit clean from the damage of lime build up, a yearly vinegar flush will dissolve the crap and give you more years of service. Sadly homeowners rarely if ever do this and the unit is toast very fast. The only way to flush is to have a by-pass adapter which is what this is. makes the yearly flush very easy. Recommended! This Matsui unit is one of the best, specifically design for tankless heat exchangers.
