Pretty nice machine. Actually a little heavier duty than I was expecting. The attachments are crap but that’s what I expected. Was missing 1 nut but I’ll pick one up at the hardware store. Still useable without it anyways. Felt like it was dragging when used at first but I sprayed a little silicone on the guide rod and it smoothed right up.

Of all the home gym lay pull-down system this was the only one that had the height to allow full range of motion/extension of my lats. It is solid! The plates go up and down very smoothly and the adjustable seats and pad is super useful. Again the height is very important so make sure you buy this one over the shorter version from other companies.

I finally got around to attempting to assemble this (been on vacation). I completed the inventory of all items and was disappointed to find the following were missing: Bolt Plate, Rubber Gaskets (4), M10*75 Hex Bolt (2), M10*70 Hex Bolt, M10*25 Hex Bolt. The screw washers were exact and I received 10 screw nuts vs 8 (rather have more than not enough though ;) ).The other large pieces arrived in an incredible condition with no dents or blemishes.I am looking forward to getting this put together and trying it out. The equipment appears to be heavy duty and this was why I chose this this item verses so many others available.I will keep this review updated once I get the missing items.

MachineI was looking for the tallest lat pulldown on the market under $500. The Giant brand is 86" whereas this is 83". I want to be able to fully extend and get a full range of motion so this is a must. Other machines on Amazon are around 77". I've decided to go with this one because the seat is adjustable. My assumption is that if I bottom out the seat, it'll give me further distance from the bar, which more than make up the three inch difference. The max height is important for a full stretch but the measurement that matters the most is from the bar to the seat. I'm happy to say that I can easily get a full extension as a 5'11 person. The second reason why height is important is because you can top out the guide if you perform other exercises like single arm chest flies. I attached the included chain and stood pretty close to the machine and it doesn't top out. Another win.Customer ServiceTop notch. I messaged the for two issues. 1) within one day of purchasing this, I found that they are selling it $20 cheaper on their site. Amazon doesn't do price matching so I messaged the seller and they refunded me the difference. Secondly, I had issues with the cable and they immediately sent me another. I have not received it yet but based on other reviews, I'm confident it'll come.ImprovementsThe lower row sits a bit low. If you go to the gym, you'll notice that all their cable row machines have their pullies about stomach height. The center pulley is perfect for that but it makes it redundant. I would prefer the center pulley to be about bicep to shoulder height for chest flies and rotator cuff workouts. The Giant brand has a flip up seat so when you do cable curls, the cable doesn't hit the seat. You have to stand further out for this machine to clear the seat, but now your cable angle isn't perpendicular to the floor. You can remove the seat though. The Y shape does take up a much bigger footprint than the Giant brand. A T shape may be better for the length of the machine.Installation notesThe inventory in the instructions states eight short bolts but I only found four in the package. It turns out that they help you partially assemble the seats so the other four is already used (that's nice of them but it took me a while to figure out). The inventory also said you get two counter sink screws, which I can't find either. It turns out, it's just the normal silver screws. The rest of the screws are black so you can't miss it. They are not counter sunk.OverallI'm really happy with it. The height is high enough where I can get a full range of motion and I don't top out the glide when doing flies. Although the pullies are plastic, they are smooth. Customer service is very responsive and helpful. The more expensive version allows me to do chest flies and rotator cuff workouts, although, it's not the ideal height.

The equipment is garbage, and so is customer service. First, the box that it arrived in was falling apart. It looked like it had been repackaged several times. We gave it a chance. The base has a slot for a vertical rod. The base slot was a quarter of an inch too big, so the entire machine swayed. It was completely unsafe. There was also a metal bracket that was already bent when we took it out of the box, hence another reason why I think it had been repackaged. There were also scratches on the metal bars. So we contacted customer service. Number 1, they are open on random hours so good luck getting ahold of someone. When we finally did, the person we talked to said we’d get a refund and not pay for shipping it back. We submitted pictures of the box (we had already boxed it back up and we’re not unboxing it again since the box was in such poor shape already). Then we heard another person who said we could get a partial refund and replacement parts. We said no, we don’t want it. Then another person said they would have to meet with a manager to discuss. We still haven’t heard back. This has been going on over a week. It is absolutely ridiculous. This company is a total scam with horrible quality.

Pros:Delivery was very fast but the box got beat up pretty bad on the way. There were no foam, wood, or other packing material to keep the part from moving around in the box. One of the bars had multiple areas where the paint was chipped but nothing was bent or smashed.I am not sure what gauge steel but it is thicker than my Fitness Gear Half rack I got form Dicks Sporting Goods. I am quite satisfied with the overall weight and quality of the all the parts. The installation directions were very clear and easy to follow. There were two steps that called for the wrong screws (short ones instead of the long ones). That was easy enough to figure out though. Installation overall was very good and I got it all put together within one hour. I was very particular so most folks might be able to bet it put together even faster. It still feels a tad bit wobbly, however I highly doubt it will tip over onto it's side without a LOT of effort. The sliding mechanism was not very smooth but a little bit greased fixed it. The cables and pulleys all worked as expected with no issues.Over all I am still very satisfied with it. The equipment is very much worth the price being asked for it (about $299 when I bought it).
