The seat is easily installed and looks fine. However, the cushioning feels somewhat flimsy like foam rubber not gel.

I bought this seat for my gf as we go mtn biking often. She keeps saying how uncomfortable her stock seat is even with the padded shorts. So I made this investment and let me just say she brags about how comfortable this seat is on her bike. I was worried it would look big on her bike but it looks normal and it is very comfortable. We have gone on long rides and she has even ridden without the padded shorts with no issues.

Having purchased a second one of these for another bike, I feel like it may not deserve the super-positive review I gave it initially. The first one I got went onto a road bike, and it's great: Comfortable, lightweight, popped right onto the bike with no fuss, and I never experienced any pain or lack of support.The second saddle went onto a road hybrid and it's almost like a completely different product. Installation was just as simple, but somehow it was skewed to the right despite not moving the seat post at all when removing the old saddle and installing this one. On the road it's far less comfortable than the first one, with bad pain manifesting after just a few miles. Obviously I can't rule out the difference in bikes, one being a true road bike and the second one being a hybrid, but I simply can't seem to get comfortable with the second one despite the first still being quite good. In the end, it's less than $20 and is still a great value and doesn't feel cheap at all.

Ordered this seat on amazon for a super budget mtb bike build. After unboxing, I was skeptical of the softness of the seat foam, and the way that it is attached to the seat. This seat would not provide support for anything more than infrequent casual riding. The layup of the seat was shoddily constructed, and the seat rails bent out of true during installation, leading to a crooked seat (talk about hip/back pain!). Luckily I found an old seat in my garage. Highly recommend skipping this one.

I bought this seat to replace the aging original one on the Trek CrossRip I use as a daily commuter. The foam is very comfortable and the center channel provides the much needed relief when I take the bike out for longer rides on my days off. So far the soft material covering the saddle seems to be holding up and shows no signs of wear after 3 months of use. I would buy this saddle again if available in 2 years or so. Hmm, perhaps I should just get another one now.
