Great product super easy to install, did the job of getting rid of the annoying rattle form the rocker shafts. You think Harley would have came up with this on their own. Oh well this is a perfect solution to a annoying problem.

I had to replace one of the two rocker support plates, and the holes are larger than the original, and the lockers dropped in almost all the way. I just pushed them in with my thumb, and tapped lightly with a screwdriver handle. The old plate required the press fit instructions. Good product.

While these do eliminate rocker noise, it’s a Harley and there are a thousand other noises to take its place. Now I can hear the lifters and pushrods better. Cool product, but more about the fun of tinkering on the bike than solving a useful problem.

Easy to install into the rocker arm support plate. Getting to that point is another story. (if you don’t know what you’re doing, get a service manual. Emailed John from the company got a response in less than a day and he answered all my questions in great detail. I bought 2 kits because they are such a “simple” fix to an annoying problem that all Harley have it will have, at some point. Just do them.

I loved this product! I used to have a rattle coming from my Rocker Boxes that I couldn't figure out! I had rebuilt my engine completely including the heads with new Valve Springs/Valves, and new Rocker Arms/New Shafts and was dismayed when I started it up for the first time that the dam rattling noise was still there even after replacing everything in the Rocker Boxes/Heads! I stumbled on these by accident and checked them out on Amazon, The hardest thing was getting the Rocker Arm bolts out, I ended up having to unbolt my front engine mount after struggling trying to get enough clearance to get the bolt out without hitting the under side of the frame with the bolt head of the Rocker Arm Support bolt. Once out I put the 1st sleeve in and it worked like a charm, then for whatever reason I started the 2nd insert and even though I carefully checked the cutout in the Rocker Shaft I must have caught an edge and I made a piece of junk out of the 2nd insert in the kit. I then took a deep breath and installed the rest of the inserts with no trouble, glad they put an extra one in the kit! I put my bike together started it up and listened for.....nothing, no rattling noise! Yippee, it has been driving me nuts for years! Great product, follow the instructions and double/triple check everything is aligned(I used a tapered 12" pinch to make sure that the Rocker Shaft/Arm are correctly aligned to start pressing in the insert) when you start to press in the insert if there is ANY resistance felt, stop! Check again and proceed with caution, once in you will be happy with the results as I am!

All I can say is...WOW! I purchased these after stumbling onto them on a Harley forum and after being aggravated with the noise coming from my 2012 Road King for months. Ive tried different oils, countless hours of research, making adjustments here and there and nothing worked. After reading others reviews, I decided to give these a try.Install took about 3-4 hours by myself with allowing a half hour of push rod bleeding down time per cylinder. Install was pretty simple if you have a basic knowledge of your bike and mechanics in general. I would definitely recommend having a service manual handy for bolt removal and install procedure (including torque specs). Also, be sure to read and follow the instructions carefully. In my particular instance, I did not clean all the oil out from my breather bolt hole and ended up blowing out the bottom part of the bolt threads. Luckily for me, it was cosmetic but had it been another hole I would have been in seriously trouble. After having these installed now about 100 miles all I can say is this is what you need to get rid of the noise. I was astounded by how quiet my bike is now! Granted, these obviously do not eliminate every single valve train noise, that would be near impossible. However the initial improvement was fantastic. I also ride with a fairing, which does allow the rider to be able to hear more engine noise, and even so these did the trick. I can honestly say this has been the best product I have ever purchased for my Harley.
