Made my 160 mm 35 gold more supple as I could run less pressure. Also no bottom out.

Token was the right size, but they sent me only 1 instead of 5 tokens. Brutal. The price of one token at any bike store is 5 dollars and I paid almost 40. Would NOT recommend this company since they have done this to others too which suggests unethical sales strategy.

Put these in a 100 mil Reba that I either had to run so hard to not bottom out, that it felt locked out on anything but jumps or real hard impacts or had to deal with bottoming the fork constantly to get any small bump sensitivity. I went one token at a time until I out all three in, dropped my pressure by 20psi and now it's amazing. Keeps the tire planted while cornering over small bumps (that you barely feel now) and ramps up perfectly on bigger hits. I'm 215lbs and only bottomed the fork once whole riding the nastiest trail in Georgia (Stanley's gap) and that was launching from a five to six foot rock ledge to flat bottom. Also helped with brake dive. I used to be able to mush through almost the whole travel and hard downhill brake sections. Now it ramps up and you only feel about an inch of dive on first pull off the clampers. If you hate how your fork feels, get these and play around, they are magical when you get the combination of pressure and pucks in there. Also if you drop your pressure like I did don't forget to adjust your rebound a couple clicks.

I started doing some jumps and drops on my trails and I would consistently bottom out my front shock. After doing a bunch of research, I found that I needed to add some bottomless tokens to make the compression profile more aggressive. When I took the shock apart to install these, I found that my valve cap was NOT threaded on the inside, so these tokens would not work. I had to order a replacement valve cap that was threaded for the bottomless tokens. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LW8EH8KOnce I got the threaded valve cap, these work great! There are 5 tokens so that you can experiment with what works best for you. I found that 2 tokens make the fork wonderful again.MORAL OF THE STORY: Take apart your shock first to make sure the valve cap is threaded on the inside before ordering!

Adding these to your shock reduces the maximum air volume of the air chamber which means when it's compressed the pressure rises faster. This has the effect of being softer at the beginning of travel and more quickly ramping up to harder as it moves towards the end of travel. Essentially it allows you to run lower air pressure without bottoming out as easily. The seller's description is a bit poor, I thought I was getting one token, but actually received 5, increasing the value of the purchase a bit. Also, do your research, these aren't compatible with all forks. According to the Rockshox (SRAM) website, "Black bottomless tokens are compatible with the following Solo Air forks: RS-1, SID, Reba, Bluto, Revelation)." I also recommend getting the proper size socket as using an adjustable wrench will scratch your precious soft aluminum cap, I believe it's 24 mm (but please don't take my word for it).

Excellent for tweaking your suspension. Typically for me, it was hard setting up my RockShox SID because I could never if I get it set up correctly. If set the pressure lower for more bump compliance, I would blow through my travel easily and bottom out. On the other hand, if I increased the pressure so I wouldn't bottom out it would make the fork feel too harsh. Adding in bottomless tokens easily cleared up my issues. Now I can set the pressure a little lower but at the same avoid bottoming out. It kinda works like a high speed compression dampening adjustment.Another great feature in this design is the ability to adjust the tokens quickly with ease. You just need to remove the air from the fork and then remove the air cap on the air stanchion side. Excellent product and design. Highly recommended if having trouble setting up your fork.
