The dB15 is a mono amplifier with 6,000 watts peak output and 1500 watts Dyno-Certified power. Here at Rockville we offer the best value in car audio. We therefore want to make it easy for you to compare our products to any brands on the market. The peak rating can be used to compare with brands who use peak ratings such as Boss and Power Acoustik while the Dyno Certified RMS rating can be used to compare with top brands such as Kicker, Rockford, Alpine, etc. One of the tricks to determine the real power of a car amplifier is to multiply the fuse rating by 10 to determine the true RMS power. This formula almost always works within 20 %. The dB15 features a fuse with a rating of 150 Amps. Although we rate these conservatively at 1500 watts Dyno Certified @ 2 ohms, this amplifier puts out more power than this!. This amp has a fully adjustable 12dB/Octave crossover with differential circuitry. Other features include a subsonic filter, a fully adjustable bass equalizer, mute and delay soft start technology, a phase control switch, and a dashboard subwoofer control for added convenience..

It's a little on the large size for my application. It's located behind the back passenger seat & I'm using it to power two 12" subwoofers in an enclosed box under the back seat of my 2011 Ford F-150 super-crew FX4. Most of the dials are turned down because as they're turned up the subs start to sound distorted pretty quickly. Probably more power than the two 12" Infinity REF1200S can handle?

I am really liking this amp. It works great with 2 Kicker CompR 12 inch 2 ohm subwoofer in my 03 Ram 3500. I like that the bass knob came with it. I wish it was the type that shows clipping, but still nice to be included. Also like that it came with power wire fuse and holder. There are a few companies where that would be extra sale item. All in all a good little sub.

Only thing I don't like about it is when setting the gain it doesn't clip it just shuts off, I'm running the Rockville DV12K6D2 Dual 12" 4800w. Sounds great with enough power to add another sub or two.

Great amp. I opened it up when I got it to see how it was built. Its solid inside. Caps are glued and no flex on the board. I've been using it for about 8 months now with no issues even on hot days when the car is burning inside. I'm running 2 12" 400watt rms each @ 3ohms. Use the cea rating when your matching to your subs all the other ratings are useless. You can't run this at 1 ohm so dvc subs won't work if your running a pair.

This amp has to be the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. All the sub shops laughed at me and i thought I had gotten a good deal. This amp cost me almost 500$ now. Acts good one day and then it will try to burn your truck down the next, then it won't even play past 4 the day after that. Amazon Customer service is a joke. I've been asking for a refund and they want me to send the product back first, I paid extra for the warranty so I should've have to wait for my money back! I'm out a amp, money, speakers, and time because of poor quality product and Amazon is to selfish with there money

I have not even had this 5 months from day one did not sound right. My small 1500 watt amp out performs this. I have zero gauge wires two batteries all the bells and whistles that should make this thing pound. Today i get in my car start it and amp starts smoking. This is now my second amp from Amazon that started smoking randomly not under power. Well my amps from a stereo shop are still going strong. Go to check if i can return it and no option. Garbage straight garbage.

Bought this to run 2 subwoofers in my trunk and this is what I thought of this product. It was easy to put install and use (I ran it with a 1000W capacitor and 4 gauge wiring). It works as expected for a single coil, and has held up well. While it is not a dual coil (which would be a better option), it is made out of good quality material. It has been used for a couple of months now and is holding up great. We went with this product cause for the most part the reviews we found were decent. However make sure that the subwoofers you are using are in fact single coil or single coil compatible... if not then you need to upgrade to a dual coil amplifier (which I would recommend anyways). As for the brand, I have nothing but good things to say about Rockville, they are a good quality company and are putting out some good quality products! I will continue to use their products. As with any product there are a few things I didn't like, but they are not major issues...All in all a good product worth the money spent!

Can't lie this amp bangs but cannot push my Two Hifonics square subs. Definitely a good amp for one sub at maybe 1000 watts. When getting the good bass that I expect from this amp she cuts out then comes back. On a good ride she heated up and went completely out in a matter of 30mins. Mind you I installed this amp yesterday. Only took 5mins to realize it's working too hard to push my subs. I can't bash this amp because it does bang but I can't find the sweet spot that gives me the bass I want and doesn't clip or send the amp into protection mode. Good budget amp but will not satify the average bass head.
