Your cart is empty.The Rockville RMC-XLR is the same exact microphone we use in our Pro Mic Kit 1 microphone/stand bundle. This mic was created because we saw a need in the market for a high quality microphone at an affordable price. We found there were a lot of good mics around from reputable brands that sound great, but are very expensive. When we looked at the cheaper mics on the market from both reputable and entry level brands; we were not impressed at all. As a result we sent our very own product developers on a mic testing journey. A lot of our employees here at Rockville love to do karaoke, so it was not long before we found a mic that we all loved. You may be asking yourselves, so what makes this mic sound so good? There are 3 main components that make a mic sound the way it does. The cartridge, the magnet, and the mic cable. Our mic uses an M-56 cartridge which has a neodymium magnet. This combination of components supplies better sensitivity; which means your mouth will not have to be on the mic for it to pick up the sound. Our components supply more than a great pickup pattern. They have very little background noise, and great tone. We pay a lot of attention to detail. We could have saved a lot of money and got our cost down by including a cheap cable, but we know how important the cable is. We are very passionate about our products and we really have a lot of respect for our customers. For this reason alone we included a 100 % OFC copper cable. There is no aluminum in this cable! It is Pure oxygen free copper. What this means is that the cable will last longer and will sound a lot better. You will get a distortion free signal. We use a true gauge mic cable with proper thickness. The body of the microphone is also something we paid a lot of attention too. We did not want it to be too light and feel cheap. We made a nice solid metal microphone. It has a great feel to it. We could have gone with plastic or cheaper metal, but we wanted to go with a mic that we ourselves would want to use.

This mike reminds me of a Shure vocal mike. They are a very good mike. So, this mike comes with all the actresses and is a great buy for the money.

We're not microphone experts but this was a replacement for two other microphones that broke and the difference in quality is obvious. We use this for a home karaoke system and it is perfect.

Mic works great, BUT while it came in a nice, new looking cardboard box, the inside of the plastic case only had a thin layer of foam on one side, meaning the microphone was basically rolling around loose in the package. There was only one cable included (1/4" TS). It was missing the second cable (XLR) and the microphone clip, which are specifically listed on the product page. Buyer beware!

I first purchased the Single Rockville High-End Metal DJ Handheld Wired Microphone RMC-XLR Professional Dynamic Vocal Microphone on May 17 of this year and I ordered a second one which came early than expected today. The microphones are sturdy, the sound quality is perfect, the on/off button works perfectly, and the wired microphones came perfectly. I purchased a CD+G singing karaoke machine then later bought the microphones. I discovered that singing is my hobby and holding the Rockville microphones feels amazing! The Rockville DJ Handheld Wired Microphone set arrived intact with all its accessories. The microphone is sturdy and provides good amplification of your voice. This is a very good microphone for its price point. I recommend it.

Love it. got a dual 1/4" TS to 3.5"mm TRS minijack Y adapter and works flawlessly for both my Traktor and PC. Very rich sound. Would not say its great for vocals without a voice processor (I dont think my own voice is as bassy as the mic makes it sound but that could just be me..) Good cables too low noise, using +20db boost on the PC and anyone who knows, knows that if you got static that much boost will make it real obvious and sound like garbage. Sensitivity is perfect as well, can get good vocals out of 1ft distance or at point blank. Pop filter needed? Nope. Honestly impressed by this, and having a case is a nice touch
