Great bridge product between the race and recreational skate worlds

Womens rollerblades, womens inline skates

Knit upper comfort

The knit upper adds tech, function and aesthetic appeal. It is designed to be light weight and provide a softer feel on the foot with added breathability. The upper wraps around the foot for enhanced performance to make it more form fitting.

comfortable lining inside the skate boot

Form fit liners

The High Performance liner of the Macroblade 110 3WD is one of the most comfortable liners you can skate in. The padding in the tongue and ankle areas cushion the feet for more enjoyable and comfortable skating when combined with the knit uppers.

Fast 100mm wheels and high quality bearings

110mm speed

The 11.4" 3WD frames are rigid, stable and have a lower profile design to lower the center of gravity with increased speed and maneuverability. Even though the 3 wheels are larger, the frame is actually a little shorter to help with turning and carving. The shorter wheel base complements the larger wheel to get the best of both worlds for speed and maneuverability. Supreme 110mm/85A wheels maximize roll, grip, speed and wear. They are a true upgrade in performance and make a difference in the skate experience. SG9 bearings are fast, superior and facilitate additional speed.

Supportive rollerblades, supportive inline skates, supportive skates

Elevated skate experience

The Macroblade structure supports all abilities of skaters comfortably. It has the ideal mix of flex and lateral support to enable longer skating sessions with less foot fatigue. The aluminum buckle securely fastens the feet with durability while the strap and lace with lace lock system anchors the heels in for the perfect fit to minimize heel lift. One great feature of the versatility of the Macroblade 110 3WD is racers can experience a higher boot with the speed they are familar with and rec skaters can experience speed with the higher support they are familiar with.

Benefits of inline skating to your health

Benefits Of Inline Skating

Improves coordination, agility & dynamic balance (balance while your body is in motion)

Increases Core Strength- Postural, abdominal, and back extensor muscles, get a great workout while skating.

Builds Aerobic Exercise Benefits- increases your heart rate and gets your lungs working, both components in aerobic exercise.

Builds Anaerobic Exercise Benefits- Inline skating provides anaerobic benefits, such as muscle strengthening and toning.

Weight Loss and Maintenance- Inline skating at 10mph on a regular basis not only burns about 6 calories a minute, or 360 calories an hour, but also turns fat into muscle - a double benefit.

Low Impact Exercise- While skating has the bone density enhancing benefits of being a weight bearing activity, the smooth push and glide motion has minimal impact on the joints.

Increases Self-Confidence- Probably the greatest fitness benefit of all is that inline skating is fun and gives you a sense of accomplishment as you tackle new fitness challenges.

rollerblading pads, rollerblading wrist guards, skating wristguard, inline skating wristguard

Protective Gear

Inline skating is a fun and exhilarating activity but like other sports can include accidental falls or spills. Wear the protective gear whenever possible to help increase confidence as well as protect the body. Rollerblade has helmets and a great selection of pads to choose from. Bladegear XT offers quality protection. Skate Gear 3-packs (wristguards, knee pads, elbow pads) introduce technical materials and elevated anatomical design for superior protection from the pavement.

Macroblade size chart

Use The Chart To Find Your Skate Size

Most skates follow your shoe size.

Check the following:

- The skate's closure system should be secured snugly. Tap the heel on the floor to push it into the rear of the boot.

- Standing with knees bent or skating, the heel should be secure with minimal lift. A skate that is too loose can compromise support.

- Toes should not be cramped against the front of the skate.

- Toes should lightly brush against the toe area. Your heels will settle back giving them the proper room and allowing the skate to feel snug.

- Skate socks make a big difference in the performance and fit of skates.

I've only skated rollerblades since in 1984. I've seen quality declined slightly over time but this most recent pair of skates was a bit shocking. The laces are those yank to tighten. They are very thin cords with a friction stopper at the top that you push down against the top of your foot to in effect lace the boot. I've never liked this design but the new version has a handle that facilitates pulling this strings tight. It seemed like a good idea unfortunately they tried to connect the cord ends by weaving them together and the skate that I received one of them the cord was broken where it would have come out of the woven bundle. The other skate was intact but looking at the woven bundle I had to wonder for how long.I then looked at the eyelets through which the cord was laced. And they're not actually eyelets they look like some kind of fabric. Which in an earlier pair of roller blades from maybe 10 years ago that design was great until it wasn't. Because the constant yanking of the cord acted as a scissoring effect that eventually cut through the loop that is supposed to hold the cord. I ended up having to make a hole in the boot just to give the lace somewhere to go. Eventually I had to remove the lace entirely and use a normal lace that I would tie like a normal shoe. Not the best but it was a functional solution and that was not something I was willing to do in a brand new skate that cost more than $250. A closer inspection of the lace loop showed that they might be glued to the liner or maybe they are sewn in and glued but there were glops of glue on the surface of the skate boot that showed a poor quality control in application of this glue substance. All of these elements combined made it impossible to keep this skate because even if I could have figured out a way to reattach the ends of the lace to use the handle to tighten them I would fear that they would tear through the loops or pull the loop out of the boot. All of this said, I still skate the brand but I guess I will have to be much more careful in selecting the next ride. And if I cannot find another skate I might actually have to break a 40-year tradition. And go look for a different brand.UPDATE: Rollerblade called me, the "speed laces" are a known design issue and something better is coming out in the next version. They also offered to repair my existing skates. I'm impressed with the customer service.

Length is true to size at 43, but these are women's width, not as wide as a medium men's D width. I like skates snug, and these are a soft boot, so maybe would break in ok for people who don't wear an E (men's wide).I haven't skated in them since i'll be returning them, but just standing in them i found the cuff uncomfortable (in thin socks). Maybe that would break in too. They also feel pretty heavy, about 1700 grams each (size 43 without brake) compared to my old 4×80 Coolblades that are ~1400 g. But this is my first 3×110, maybe the weight is normal or low for these skates? The bearings (Twincam ILQ-9 "Classic Plus", apparently different from the ILQ-9 "Pro" available retail) are underwhelming: never yet skated on but a few are a bit rattly. (Bearing lube seems thick too, probably a non-issue when skating.)These are the SE version of Hydrogen wheels, not the made in USA ones. The frame isn't replaceable; it's riveted. The wheels have wide clearances that seem to be common with 110mm skates (kind of the opposite of a Powerslide Trinity setup that keeps you closer to the ground). The only place anything is within 8mm of the wheel is right above the middle wheel. A possible advantage: 125mm wheels might fit with minor modification, removing the superfluous plastic in that one spot under the arch of the boot.

Skates came in new condition even though the packaging was in rough shape. Overalll, the skates are very comfortable (no blisters right out of the box) and would purchase again.

tried a sz13 for my wide foot, but much too narrow. I finally found K2 skates 2B a bit wider.
