The directions were vague but mostly easy to follow. With some patience it went together with no problem and took maybe 3 hours or so. We like the color and the extra space it adds to the kitchen. I didn’t like the wheels so I bought some rubber ones but they were probably fine. It seems sturdy but time will tell. The only real complaint is that there was one shelf that had a many places where the blue paint was rubbed off and there were several small places that need to be touched up. The under coat is white so it sticks out when scratched.

The quality is great and it also looks great. The only issue I had was the company put stickers on the backing of the piece. Where they put them was cardboard so I could not get them off. Maybe place them in a piece that’s not cardboard in the future. Other than that I love the island!

UPDATE: Seller contacted me and made two different offers to make things right. I am satisfied with the settlement.Glue holding on a decorative piece on the door and another that supports the inside shelf failed and the pieces fell off. Looks nice when put together but I would not buy it again.

As other reviews have said, the amount of parts looks daunting at first. However, once I laid everything out numerically and alphabetically, it went together very well. The instruction pictures were pretty easy to follow.

It is very sturdy and is exactly as presented. A little intimidated with all parts but that’s understandable once you get it together. I was missing one of the barn doors, but it still looks good with one solid door. I covered my top because I didn’t like the butcher block look . This is a great buy!
