Didnt quite fit, didnt realistic men's foot size, the sole was flimsy and "leather straps" slid down. They didnt over socks so I guess that works.

These were good for a costume but not good to walk in. We used these for a play and they had a hard time staying together by the end of the run. The material isn't the best, but they looked fantastic! They're a great deal if you're looking for something inexpensive. I would probably buy them again.

I've had to do quite a bit of work on these, but for the price, it was the best thing I could find. The bottom of the "shoe" is just fabric. If you needed these for a one-night, indoor, costume party, you'd be fine. But I was making a costume that would need to be worn multiple times, so I ended up just completely cutting of the bottoms and attaching them to a pair of cheap flip flops. It took some real creativity on my part, but it worked and they look great! The other thing is that they attach around your legs with velcro, but it doesn't go very tight. The guy I made them for doesn't have very big calves, so I had to move the velcro a bit too, to make them hold and not fall down around his ankles. Anyway, there's not much else out there that looks like a Hercules sandal, so if you think you're crafty enough to make these work, or you don't need them to be durable, go for these.

I'm a size 11 in men's and it was too short and too narrow for my feet. There are no soles on the bottom at all. It is just felt like fabric. The Velcro leg straps did not fit and it did not look like the picture at all. It's cheaper for me to keep them than return them for 50% of the purchase price because I opened them to wear and discovered they're far too small and I would have had to pay for shipping to return them. Don't waste your time and buy these

Great for the money. Almost no padding, but they look exactly like the picture. I wore them for one party and will wear them again for another party. They will not last forever, but should be good for quite a few uses. I am size 11.5 and my toes came right to the edge of these.

This was a pretty good purchase. I ordered them the 15th, and they arrived on the 19th, not a moment too soon. I ordered them from TotallyCostumes, and the packaging was nice and organized. I order them for my friend's Hercules outfit, and they worked very nicely. He wears a size 10 in street shoes and they fit him almost perfectly. The straps stayed up fairly well for most of the night (we went to a Halloween party). The sole of the shoe is just fabric so it won't withstand a lot of wear and tear. The back of the shoes are Velcro so they are adjustable for most sizes. My friend has rather small calves so they were almost too large for him, but thankfully the Velcro stuck to the brown material. Overall, these served their purpose and looked very nice with the Forum Roman Gladiator Adult costume. They completed the costume and added a nice polished look. :)
