Don’t believe when they say bolt in fit only to boat fit other side you have to drill 4 holes also around muffler pips you have to cut it wider to fit. note if you have reservoir shock it will not fit it to wide to hit both shocks

The part fits perfectly and because no instructions come with this product I had to use my mechanical brain, had to drill to holes and that was a wrap.

I had to modify it a little bit to get it to work.The bolt flanges that go up the bumper were way too wide for my application. (I have muffler hangers mounted on the inside)So i cut a 2x2 square off each side then slid it into place.Them once i got it up there and all bolted in, I had to take a sawsall and cut around the exhaust pipe. Was about an inch too close. Was hanging up on it.

You don't often hit your muffler while off road but when you do you can feel and hear it. The sound of a muffler being dragged over a rock is like fingernails running down a blackboard. I suffered a little mishap coming off a ledge in my Jeep Rubicon and reshaped my muffler. Nothing too significant. Preferring not to test my mufflers impact strength again I elected to install the Rough Country Skid. Straightforward install with some minor drilling required. Have a floor jack and some stands to help position and hold in place during the install. Since the install, I've scraped the skid a few times so I know it's doing its job. Looks good from the back as well - at least better than looking at a rusting muffler. For those who don't like the Rough Country logo cut out, all I can say is that it is barely noticeable. Overall, satisfied with the product.
