It does the job needed, and looks nice. Makes it easier to play without annoying the neighbors. I'm not sure if there are comparative mutes which might make a better sound, but mostly I wanted it for pure notes without the decibels, and this works well for it.

If you need something in a pinch, this will work. Especially for beginners or someone who needs a mute. Fits in my trumpet just fine, not the highest quality of mutes, but good as a backup.

Just know that if you buy this you are getting baby mini mute (about the size of a piccolo trumpet mute) that is made of plastic and does not really silence your trumpet. It just makes a terrible sound and distorts your airflow.

works with my trumpetmakes it bearable for the rest of the householdsimple to uselightweight plasticyou can see and feel the nubs in the plastic from the mold it was in. doesnt affect performance, just a nitpicky aesthetic issue
