*Edited* Cannot recommend this product- at least for the way our Yukon diesel filler works. There is no good way without a separate funnel and measuring system to put this in the fuel tank. There is no need to use the entire bottle, nor is it cost effective to use an entire bottle in one tank, and it is impossible to get a certain quantity measured out and poured into the tank with the supplied filler nozzle. Most of this product ended up spilling out of the overflow and on the ground. Very disappointed. Original post: It is probably too early to tell if this product is having the desired effects, however I'll likely never purchase it again for the following reasons: It's impossible to measure how much you're putting in, no way to see the flow, how much was in the can, no oz markers, etc. like you might see in fuel stabilizer. In fact I would use an empty container of sta-bil if I knew the plastics were compatible with this product- but I don't. This has a "funnel" that attaches but doesn't allow air to easily go back into the can and upon removal you realize some stays in the funnel only to leak out/spill/be wasted. It stinks almost as bad as diesel itself. If you aren't wearing gloves and get it on your hands you need to find a place to wash them off right away, and although I had a cardboard box in my car to put the can and attached funnel in after I used it, a lot of drips soaked into the cardboard so it needed to be discarded. I'll look for another product with better packaging I suppose.

I have tried other brands and was pleased with the results until I used this. This is a game changer. I will not buy another brand again

This is the cheapest I can find this exact product anywhere, I use it in my VW Jetta TDI 2.0About 1/5 of the can for a 15 Gal tank, as this stuff is concentrated.I'm at 150,000 miles as of writing this, I like to run this twice a year (4-5 consecutive fill ups at a time) keeps the fuel delivery / throttle response, and engine running smooth. I have never had any codes kick on relating to the DPF/Regen system since using this. Also works exceptionally well as an anti-gel for freezing temperatures - easy start every time (tested in Upstate NY)

I was researching the cause of a really rough idle. I went through maintenance manual dance of changing a damping adjuster, etc, etc, but not much improvement came. But in the research low cetane rating kept getting mentioned here and there as a cause of rough idle. From what I read US diesel fuel has low cetane value (around 40 to 45) rather than 52 minimum as legally required in Europe. When I mixed this MAX TANE stuff into my fuel at the minimum dosage (1 ounce to 5 gallons) I was soon getting a smoother idle. The idle went between just fine mostly and occasionally a bit rough. At the next tank I went 1 ounce to 4 gallons and then she just purred and has ever since. I have been using this stuff for about 12 months and now I swear by it. Also: Starting is quicker, throttle response is clearly better, more power is had too. The car is a 1985 Mercedes 300D.

Prior to using this I had 4 of 8 injectors starting to stick. On cold starts it would throw out white smoke until it came to running temp and would run with reduced power. After using this stuff for about half a tank I noticed starts were easier, there's no white smoke on cold starts and overall the engine seems to be running substantially better. Between this and revving the engine/running it a bit hard to clear out build up, I think I bought myself a good bit of time on a quoted $3500 injector replacement job,

I use this in my Duramax at each oil change and fuel filter change.Pour what you can in the fuel filter and then install filter on truck. Put what is left, if any, into the fuel. When you start the truck this is the way to clean your injectors and save bucks since the dealer does almost the same thing but they use a fancy machine. I've been doing this for 10 years and all my injectors are humming along. All original. Also, I use .25 ounce synthetic two-stroke oil per gallon of fuel. This make a huge differnce in your injector life and the sound of your engine. Finally, I use a cetane booster as recommended and my Duramax is smooth and quiet.

Significant improvement in my city mpg.I typically get 16-17 mpg in the city and about 20-21 mpg at 65mph and 14mpg towing my 5th wheel at roughly 60 mph +-10mph. I've run this in the last 3 tanks of fuel and averaged 20 mpg city driving. I mix it 1.5 to 2 times stronger than the minimum recommended. My engine is running quieter and smoother.I have an injector that's going bad and sticks open but sounds much better now. NOTE: just before using royal purple I used seafoam in my fuel bowl to hot soak my injectors, this may have affected my mpg.No highway driving yet but I have a trip coming up soon.I have a 96 F350 4x4 single cab 7.3L turbo diesel with a standard trany. I have used two chips with little to no change except for smoke. I accelerate a little faster than most drivers but I try not to
