If you’re concerned about bumper damage, this guard provides excellent protection. The product is excellent and pretty easy to install (I would recommend a helping to make it easier). It seamlessly blends in with an OEM appearance. Regarding the material, it features a thick, flexible rubber with robust 3M tape applied all around. This bumper guard serves as an effective solution for protecting or concealing your rear bumper from scratches and dings. To ensure proper fitment, I recommend measuring your back bumper before placing an order. Furthermore, Customer service was responsive and quick to address any inquiries.

While this may not be the most effective bumper protection (we just installed it), in our opinion, it is certainly one of the most attractive. Because every car is different, we've added a picture of how it looks on a Mazda CX-5, where we think, it is basically invisible, so that people who have that car can get an idea of what this would look like installed. This is, of course, a matter of personal preference, but if you want some protection from those annoying rear bumper dings in a large city, and looks pretty nice, this is a good reasonably priced option. As for the actual product, it is basically a convex piece of rubber with strong 3M adhesive tape all around the edges. It is not a solid piece of rubber, as it is convex, but the convex styling makes it look alot better than a flat piece of rubber would look. That being said, it is reasonably thick, probably at least 1/4 inch throughout and it is a little thicker on the side edges.Installation was not was not particularly challenging (we installed it when it was over 72 degrees, and according to the manufacturer, it makes a difference), and the included instructions are pretty good at helping someone line everything up properly. From an aesthetics perspective, we are thrilled with the way it looks and feel that it fits the vehicle much better than the construction sign/safety hazard bumper protectors that hang out of your trunk.Hope this helps and good luck with your shopping.

Work as advertised, obviously it’s only going to protect the area it’s covering. Be advised just like in the pictures provided by the seller, it won’t cover the sides.Once I placed the product )with the help of my wife)I went over the whole guard making sure the adhesive stayed properly and I haven’t had an issue yet I believe I’ve had it on for 3months and did multiple washes been hit 2 times and the thing is holding up well and looks better then most bumper guards.I’ve already been hit 2 times in the rear luckily where I placed the guard, and it saved my bumper from scratches and or dents like I stated earlier this think is pretty nice to have, worth every penny.

Excellent. Adheres well to the bumper. Can be removed later by using a hair dryer. It's already prevented bumper damage once so far when a car hit ours. Definitely worth it, and it looks good, too. I'm putting this on all my cars from now on -- if it fits. This fit the back bumper of our Subaru Crosstrek just fine. It doesn't fit the front of the Crosstrek because there's a license plate holder in the middle of the front bumper. But I solve this problem by cutting it in half and mounting each half next to the license plate -- and it looks really good. So we're protected front an back. The manufacturer should consider selling a split-in-half version of this.

So far so good. I've had the BumpTek bumper guard on the back of my car for 3 months now, and it's been great. I parallel park at night in Manhattan, and this helps me to back all the way into a spot (or back up to leave a spot) without fear of bumping the car behind me. If I do touch the bumper behind me, it's a soft kiss, not a crunch or a ding.It was easy to install; I left the bumper in its packaging on the dashboard of my car in the morning to get heated up. A few hours later, I wiped down the back bumper of my car with some mildly soapy water and dried it. I then carefully inspected the bumper for the furthest protruding point, pulled the tape off the bumper, and it stuck firmly. I drive 50 miles a day on the highway, have been through heavy rain storms, and several car was tunnels, and have hit the inevitable pothole hard, and the bumper guard remains firmly in place.

I spent a few minutes this morning installing my Bump Tek bumper. I had many questions and sent them to the company through Amazon. Eric M got back to me quickly and answered all my questions. He advised not putting it on outdoors in the cold weather. Preferably above 70 and even then using a hairdryer or something that would warm up the bumper and the car. Fortunately today was a warm day in New York it was 61° out Side this morning. I used a thermometer that I also bought on Amazon to measure the temperature of the bumper in the sun. It was between 69 and 72°. I then used painting tape to make a line to follow to indicate where I wanted to put the bumper. Everybody will do it differently. I started from the middle heating the bumper and the Bump Teck with a hairdryer. I only removed about 8 inches of tape at a time and did that section. I continued to heat 8 to 10 inch sections and stick the bumper guard on. When I was finished I went back over the bumper and warmed everything and pushed it in firmly. I am very pleased with the results. I actually think the car looks better with the bumper on. I can't say enough about the support I got from Eric M. My car is the 2016 Camry XLE with the back up camera. The camera works fine with the Bump Tek on.
