The hunting chairs are a little heavy, but they work great as far as swivel and adjusting the height of the legs

this is easy to put together and easy to take apart, stores well in its bag that it comes with. great that the bag is a back pack for easy carrying. got this for my husband to use for when he is out fishing. he is always using those fold stools that doesn't have a back and i thought this would be a nicer change for him. great feature of cup holders as well as a small pillow. my husband said it should of had arm rests.

I'm an outdoor instructor. I'm frequently hired by hunting retriever clubs to support their events. They absolutely adore chairs like these. They recently replaced all of their previous seating options (tall buckets with padded tops) for handlers at the line (the current working dog handler and the honor handler) with very similar chairs at great expense. I just got back from a contract with one such club and I asked them if they felt like the hundred plus dollar price tag and significant weight penalty was worth it. They said yes. That the legs allow for more options when it comes to putting the line on uneven ground and that it's a huge help for older handlers or those with injuries.Funny enough, a day later this chair was up for review. I have been offered similar chairs before but I had always turned them down because of the size and weight but having seen how helpful they've been over the last several months in the field I figured this time I would give it a try. I'm glad I did because this particular chair has a few benefits over the ones I've been using. Most notably the unit can be stowed with the legs still attached to the seat. All the other similar chairs I've used required you to unscrew the bottom section from the top with four easy to lose pieces then velcro them to the bottom of the seat for storage. This approach is a little bulkier, but it's much more convenient because there's nothing to lose and you can easily set up and take down the chair without any fuss. The resistance on the legs is quite stiff when trying to unfold them. But not too hard to overcome if you know how to open and close the legs. It's not immediately intuitive, so make sure you take a look at the diagram in the product page. Both sets of legs are pulled forward, not just the top one. I was a little disappointed by the adjustable leg feature. It only has two settings. Having the legs be locked at full extension or unlocked 4 inches shorter in the stowed position. I was hoping for more discreet adjustment so I could individually adjust each legs to make for a completely level chair on slopes and uneven terrain. It's not a deal breaker, but it is a missed opportunity. The included water bottle holder can be folded out of the way and the mesh cup can be removed if needed. Is the weight penalty and bulk substantial? Absolutely. But the kind of hunters that use this chair aren't going to be all that far away from a quad, a side-by-side, or their trucks. They're setting these up in duck blinds, some of them being the permanent ones. Maybe even operating out of a large hunting camp. It's not designed to be something you pack in for a backcountry hunt. This is a chair designed to compliment a very specific type of hunt. It fits that niche very well.I feel if you understand that niche this chair is a worthwhile option existing within it. I'm certainly glad to have it.

I picked up this chair because I ground hunt a lot and I have some upcoming public land hunts. Overall the chair seems really solid and comfortable, and it seems to be just about the right height to use out of a ground blind. The swivel feature is great and I think it will be very beneficial when trying to move into the best position for shooting. The only con I would say is that it is not the lightest chair and is sort of bulky. It folds up nice, but I really don't think it's super comfortable to carry. If you have private land and can just leave it in a blind that's great, but I hike pretty far on public land and don't see myself using this on some of those longer hikes.

The RPNB Hunting Chair is a sturdy and comfortable option for for any bird hunting, or camping but it comes with a few trade-offs.This chair is built to last, with a strong metal frame and durable mesh materials that will hold up well outdoors. It can support up to 300 pounds, though the 20-inch seat width might feel a bit tight for someone closer to that weight range. The chair is very comfortable, and the 360° swivel is smooth and silent, which is great for dove and duck hunting. The adjustable legs help you find a stable position on uneven ground, though the adjustability is somewhat limited with only two settings. This chair is heavy. While it comes with a carry strap and Velcro straps for easier transport, it’s best suited for situations where you don’t have to move it far from your vehicle or base camp. Where I dove hunt, I have to walk in 8 acres from my truck. This along with the rest of my gear is on the heavier side. For places I can get to with an ATV, it is a no brainer. You will have to decide is sitting comfort is worth the effort transporting.

This chair is comfortable and doesn't make any noise when it moves but it is a little heavy. It is well built and you can adjust it to sit level on the ground.

This is a heavy, heavy-duty swivel chair that folds like a clamshell. The first thing you will notice when you pick this chair up is its weight. It's a little over 20 pounds. When I go hunting, I like to walk a reasonable distance away from everything but nature. This is not something I will be taking with me. It's too heavy and very big. Unless you are driving in or have another method to get this to your spot, packing this over your shoulder and holding it with your hand on that side does not make this very convenient. The chair opens fast, and you can quickly adjust the length of the feet to help sit level. There is a little cup holder on the right side, but it's shallow and does not hold anything larger than a can or skinny plastic soda or water bottle.Sitting in the chair is nice and comfortable. The open mesh, however, will pass cold air through to your bottom and back. The chair will swivel completely around and is silent. This would make for a good camping chair, where you do not need to take this very far, but if your packing into a spot and carrying gear, you may want to look at something better suited.
