Ordered these and they didn't fit, but it was my fault. I measured the pot and ordered the right ones for my PartsCaster.

These are nice Knobs. However, these will not fit CTS split shaft pots. CTS are not 6mm. Just make sure you know what pots you have before buying. Not the fault of the seller...more like me buying a size 12 shoe when I wear a size 10.

All four are not accurately concentric. I have similar knobs sourced through Warmoth that are perfectly on-center. These look exactly the same, but the accuracy is not. Turning them within a tight-tolerance recess causes them to rub. For non-recesses controls, this probably isn't an issue since they are only off by about 0.5mm.I will keep them around bc I tend to hoard parts, but I will NEVER use them on one of my build when I can get accurate for nearly the same price.

The rotating on/off knob on my Home Depot torch-style floor lamp (model 173884, SKU# 398-505, manufactured by AEL lighting) broke, leaving me to find a replacement knob that would fit over the longitudinally grooved, 6mm wide rotating shaft (similar to that shown in one of my pics) that was split in half so it could be turned by a flat-blade screwdriver, or a knob with something like this built in to help turn it.These, I would learn, are most commonly used on electric guitars for volume and tone controls, especially Fender Telecasters and Precision Basses. They vary in the number of splines (vertical grooves) on the shaft. Shafts that have 8 splines on each half for a total of 16 (as shown in my pic) are common and called "coarse spline split shafts", but some guitar or lamp knobs use "fine spline split shafts" (with 10 splines on each half for a total of 20). 18- and 24-spline shafts are out there too, so you'll want to count how many splines your knob shaft has so you can order a matching control knob. Anyway, the conventional narrow "lamp knobs" sold at hardware stores and most lamp stores don't fit this type of lamp at all, so I looked online for something that might work and found these. They are metal, knurled, slightly domed on the end, and feel like a higher-quality piece than the original. They fit a bit looser over the 6mm-diameter shaft than I would have liked, but tightening the hex screw made it hold well. Very pleased with how these worked out. Amazon's star ratings don't go to 11, but these knobs live up to the 5 stars they let me give them.

Never liked the knobs that came on my Sire V7 Jazz Bass. I added these single stack knobs. I have been very happy with the look and feel of the knobs. These are nicely weighted with a good surface coating. Because these have some weight, they make the center detrends easier to feel.

These are totally different to the pictures. High gloss finish, rounded top edge. Very, very disappointed. If I wanted this cheap looking product I would have bought something cheaper and closer.I can’t believe these flew across an ocean to get to me, only for me to find I’ve been product catfished. Returning them immediately.

I recently purchased a used Ibanez SRX 500 bass guitar, but the four knobs on it were very worn. I replaced them with this set and they fit perfectly and look great.
