I have been collecting Christmas villages for a very long time. Because this was from the Bradford collection, I expected a lot more quality. I can buy items from Walmart that are far better in quality than what I received. I could see paying about $75 for this entire set just because of the characters that were in it along with the buildings. I will not buy another Bradford product again. I can get the characters for this particular series online for much less expensive. And the quality will be better.

I had hoped ordering any Bradford Exchange items thru Amazon might streamline things and get better service. Ha! No way! The sad truth is Bradford Exchange sucks! Never order any of their overpriced garbage again! I shall seek more reasonable alternatives in the future.

Color of buildings is nowhere as vibrant as pictured. Too expensive, you are paying for the name “ Bradford Exchange”

Product is very delicate and not as high quality as pictures sugest. Far too expensive for what you get. I would not purchase this.

Paid $389 for this item. The set is complete. For as expensive as this item is, the quality is not fabulous. Department 56 quality, village wise, is superior in every way. Most of the painting well represents the characters in the 1964 Rankin and Rankin claymation production with the exception of one elf who looks more like the movie character named Sloth in the 80’s flick named The Goonies. I digress. The real issue here is Bradford Exchange. Sadly, I thought by buying through Amazon, I would have better success should there be an issue. The set includes multiple figurines including the Abominable Snowman, a Christmas tree, some random lamps, and 4 village houses. The Reindeer Flight Camp house arrived damaged. Although I could’ve sworn that shipping was free, I cannot verify same and have indeed been charged approximately $35 for shipping. I exchanged several messages with Bradford Exchange about the damage to this item. The offered a free return for one small broken piece. But that would mean a great deal of time to box the entire village up (which I am ready to set out) and send back. They do not ship just one house as this item is sold as a set. I asked about a discount. My only option is return and reorder. It took at least a week to receive this one. So, I am left with two or three options. Return the entire village to Bradford exchange and forget the whole idea, return the village and reorder, or glue the broken leg myself. Fro $389, you would think that I wouldn’t have to choose any of those options. Truthfully, the reason I ordered this is because when dealing previously with Bradford Exchange, they tried to nickel and dime me for several hundred dollars more than this, and selling it to me a piece at a time over the course of months. There was nothing in their advertisement that indicated this was the way it would be sent. So, when I received only one piece instead of a whole set, I returned the piece and canceled the order. It took me several months to get a refund of my money and a cancellation completion. For the money you spend with this company, you do not get the value one would expect. Furthermore, Amazon is just the middle man in this situation and of little use as an arbitrator.
