I was hesitant to buy a carburetor on Amazon because $20 seems like it was going to be cheaply made and unlikely fit properly; but, I trusted the reviews and this product exceeded my expectations.I own a 20+ year old Generac generator with a GX270 horizontal shaft. After years of reliability, it began starting hard (10+ pulls); last week, it would only run on choke briefly, then stall.This item is an exact fit. I am impressed by its quality; the carb itself is heavy and the attached components are snug and secure. The brand stamped on the side (I should have written it down before I installed it), is Japanese. It is not ‘junk from PRC’ despite the no-name company ‘Ruma’ rebranding it.The kit included everything pictured. Even the fuel line fits perfectly. I did not install the provided spark plug or the on/off switch.Installation was easy. I turned on the fuel and the engine started on the first pull. I recommend this item to others’ needing a carburetor replacement.

I purchased this item because I had left gas in my pressure washer's tank for over a year. Obviously the stale gas screwed up the motor's carburetor. I ordered the Ruma carb from Amazon and installed it myself. Very easy to install and the carburetor fits perfectly. I cleaned out the tank, air cleaned the hoses and refilled with fresh gas. One pull, and the motor started immediately. For 20 bucks, I am buying another one for future use.
