Functions as expected. I was able to install this additional filter over the stock filter that I used as backing for the new filter. Required some trimming with scissors to fit without wrinkling the filter. Comes with two sets. 1 additional set for future replacement.

These work almost as well as the name brand filters I have purchased in the past. The difference I noted right away is the name brand is sort of sticky to the touch which captures particles better but also makes them unable to be washed. I don’t know if these will wash yet or not but I’m going to try with nothing to lose if I have to toss it anyhow. These come with four to a package which I used up right away with two ac’s requiring two filters each. Right now I’m deducting a star since they don’t have the tacky substance to capture more particles and these don’t get dirty as quickly which tells me they do not capture quite as much. But they are a good alternative.
