Had a start up problem with my motor home RV this took care of that! A lot cheaper than a new AC unit!

pas trop de détail sur le produit et l'image était flou donc impossible de voir la capacité du condenseur mais j'avais besoin de seulement du petit démarreur qui m'a été utile.

This was not my problem but it went in without a hitch. My unit was silent, no humming, nothing. Ended up being a bad terminal connection, at the control board under the cover and inside the exchanger box of the roof A/C unit on the RV. Simply moving the connector on its mating spade made it work. Argg! Light corrosion causing intermittent problem. Life in an RV.Replacing this item is relatively easy but involves dangerous heights and exposure to severe electric shock if done incorrectly.EXTREME caution needs to exercised when performing the task.

Ok for starters this would not start the rear A/C on my motorhome but the front one it started up just fine after some choking, shaking and coughing, lol.I added the resistor back to it because it was over heating and now stays at around 80 degrees F.Photo is of the rear A/C. It’s older then the front one but the same wiring. It’s now for parts, lol.

The air conditioner units that use these are coming with them builtin. The problem is that the exchangers get filled up and cause the pumps to fail early unless they have this little gem to help them along. My particular unit was a Coleman Mach and it already had one installed. I got several years out of the unit after it was initially installed, but it finally gave up - the new start capacitor didn't help - the pump is not functioning. I suspect that this one will become a backup.
