The first one I bought was used and it didn't work. This one works quite well. I have other ideas in mind with this as soon as it gets warmer. Zero degrees on my front porch this AM.

Sent a blade that would not lock in jig saw. Took an hour to figure this problem out. Need a pdf user manual but none available for the jig saw found after registering this product. Tried sending a email to Ryobi from my logged in account to order a pdf user manual but stated I need to login first. I was already logged in?? Typical Home Depot cluster mess dealing with this saw and this company. Amazon order process worked excellent as usual.

The T shank saws are a real upgrade from the U shanks of the older saws that no one seems to make any more. No more fumbling with Allen wrenches and screwdrivers to attach a new blade. Twist and lock.Powerful and quick. Although it seems to sometimes slow down or speed up on its own. I think there isn't enough tension on the speed selector wheel and it vibrates to a different speed setting. Decent saw for the price, and cuts well.

I am remodeling my kitchen and my old saw wouldn’t do the trick. I cannot believe how fast it cuts with accuracy. The quick change blades save me a lot of time in trouble. This is a combination of low price and high-quality. I only wish that it had the ability to attach my vacuum to it. It has a fan that blows dust from the line that I’m cutting. Unfortunately it blows dust into my eyes.

Bought this to replace my existing saw which had a plastic plate that broke. I was happy to find one with a metal plate, so think this one might be more durable. So far it's working just fine.
