This tool is a must have if you need to add threaded holes to sheet metal. It seems to be fair quality. I don't use it often so I can't comment on how it would hold up in the long run. I'll report back if it fails in the future. I wish I knew these were available years ago.

I have a larger insert tool that works fine but can be awkward to get into smaller spaces hence the need for this style tool. I used it on a steel insert and it didn't rrequire excessive force to do a complete compression. It comes with a nice assortment of mandrels and as I had hoped they are interchangeable with my other tool, big plus there as I now have spares. Tool is well made and feels solid to use. Thanks

Overall, the product is easy to use and intuitive to setup. I used this to install a rivnut license plate screw anchor on my 2001 Mercedes ML-430. I used the M5 attachment, which was pre-installed. I wish there was an option for longer M5 rivnut threads to screw into the anchor. Though it did work, it stripped out the first third of the screw threads in the anchor. Fortunately, the license plate attachment screw was long enough to contact the good threads that remained in the rivnut anchor for my license plate on the back of my vehicle. For this shortcoming, I give the tool 4 stars. If there was a way to acquire a set of rivnut attachments that have longer threads, that would make this tool a five-star tool.

Easy to use, very comfortable in the hand and seems to be a stout, quality product.I had tried a couple different manufacturers versions of this type of 90˚ rivnut tool and had issues with the threads pulling out of the tools mandrel while compressing the rivnut. This tool held it's treads and completely compressed the rivnut with ease.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it didn't come with a case. There are too many parts that comes with this kit for it to not be stored in a case. I've had to buy a case to store this tool and all it's parts.

Pros: Great quality for the price. Solid frame. Feels very sturdy in the hand. Rubber grips quality. Good knurling makes threaded components easy to adjust. Does a great job for small aluminum rivet nuts. Easy to use (once you figure out how all the pieces and adjustments work)Cons: Little to no instructions in English. Many small parts with no case included.
