This 5 mm Figaro link chain is a substantial chain. It is very shiny, almost plated looking. It is stamped 925 and is not attracted to a magnet, so as far as I can tell it is sterling silver. Since there is not much information given, I don’t know if there was a Rhodium plate added or if it’s just that highly polished. I guess time will tell. If it’s truly 925 silver, it will start to tarnish. The clasp is a nice lobster clasp that I find easier to use than the round ones. The clasp was attracted to a magnet, but that is expected since the springs in them are not made out of silver. It is a very nice chain and if truly 925 silver, a good value at this price of under $20 at this time of review.
