Great snare wires, sounds really beefy and huge on my 14x7 maple snare.Only downfall... I’ve used it a few times and one of the snare strands has already broken off from one side...

Snare strands started breaking one by one almost immediately. Now it’s just a complete mess. This happened within a month of purchase.

Made my mediocre snare sound like a $500 snare!!! I keep my snares really loose now and the response is amazing. Makes ghost notes sound amazing!!!!

It definitely changed the sound of my drum as far as playing soft. I have to use a lot of dynamics in church so when I play soft, I can now actually hear the snares. I had to tighten them a little more so they won’t rattle so much. So you get more rattle but you can play real soft and still hear the snares.

Very satisfied. Wondered if the higher strand count would really be noticeable and worth the cost. Happy to say- YES! so sensitive, responding to the lightest touch, with no slop on heavy hits. Love it.

Solid choice, but after trying the hybrid I don't know that I'll ever go back. The hybrid just gets a little bit of a darker warmer tone and I love that.

I have these wires on my Black Beauty, Copperphonic, and Supraphonic. They sound great, and in my opinion, sound better than Pure Sound wires. Definitely worth the extra bucks.

Worth the extra money. Installed on a pork pie big black (brass) snare (6.5x14) and got the exact, fat, and raw sound I was looking for. Haven't tuned the drum very high yet, so I can't speak to versatility but there's a reason these snares cost more. Get what you pay for.

The first snare wire I've ever tried that has made a significant difference, and I've been drumming 50 years. I put it on my Ludwig 6.5 X 14 steel snare and it transformed the drum. Sounds fatter, cut down on some of the over ring. Expensive but worth it.
