I cannot say how these fit the harley that they were intended for but after some alterations they work quite nicely on my moped style ebike to keep the panier bags out of the back wheel. Way stronger than was needed but they work.

Install was an easy but be prepared to jack the bike up slightly. Needed both Torx and Allen drivers to install. Fit is good and works well.

These bag supports will do the job, all the ID’s &OD’s are Correct 👍🏼. Appears to be a mild-ish steel with with smooth welds and excellent gloss black finish. I needed to bend slightly to pull into place on my 2016 Fls Slim but my old bags are on & my cheap 🫏 is ready to trip. 😎

Not fully universal, I spent 2 hours bending both in a vice to make it fit my Harley nightster and bolts did not fit at all. Overall not bad for the price, sturdy metal

Included bolts did not fit. Way to short. A trip to the hardware store solved that problem. The two bolt holes did line up like they were supposed to. Mine were installed on a 2005 HD 883. I had a problem lining up the bolt going back in on the upper shock mount but not caused by the brackets.

Everything fits up nicely but the hardware sent is stock length, needs to be about a half inch longer. Hopefully I can find at local hardware store.
