1) Not waterproof. Water resistantThat can be addressed with a can of kiwi water sealer. That’s what I did.2) doesn’t tie down perfectly without taking off seat.All you have to do is lift up a little after loosening seat bolt, but if that bothers you, then this isn’t for you.You aren’t going to uses if my very often anyway…. Unless you rain ride a lotOver all… it’s above average on everything except water, and tie down .

Notes say exactly that. I waterproofed it myself but definitely better than nothing. Keeps my lamb skin nice in poor conditions and easily stows in my saddlebag.

Nicely made they fit well. But they couldn’t even handle the overnight summer dew. Hubs brand new bike with a custom seat was definitely butt wet when he came out of work in morning. He’s not happy. It did not rain. Had to soak the cover down with heavy duty silicone waterproof spray. After a hard rain test on a cardboard box it it now waterproof.

I purchased this seat cover for occasions where the motorcycle is parked outside overnight (at hotels, etc.). The cover does nothing - the seat is soaked and the result is even worse than if no cover had been used. Really disappointed in this product - save your money!
