This is a great figurine with awesome details. It looks exactly like it does in the photo, and it feels heavy duty as well.

I've admired many Safari Ltd figures, especially their dragons, but this Jersey Devil is the first one to wind up in my hands. This is just awesome. The sculpt is so good, especially the face. Its sneer and head shape are just right. Although older depictions have much shorter arms or no arms at all, it's hard to not love the big hands and spread claws. Where and how the arms attach, you might expect the arms to be articulated, but they are not. Although its pose cannot be adjusted, it is perfectly balanced and very stable.It's possible the paint job may vary depending how heavily the red is applied to the figure. I see the product images on the white background are rather dark, while the images in other environments are quite red. My figure is somewhere in between, but on the redder side.In addition to cryptid and figure enthusiasts, I might also recommend this one for fellow tabletop gamers. This would be an outstanding figure to do battle against in any fantasy role playing game.
