Note: Choose the "H1 Black Wide" abrasion guard for 7/16 inch and ½ inch diameter ropes, or also with 3/8 inch ropes for a looser covering.

Rope chafe guard appears to be heavy and good quality should do the job protecting my winch rope. Haven't used the winch since putting it on but I will update this review if it doesn't work.
