I have never used a product like this before, so I didn't really know what to expect. I live in a tropical climate that has extremely high humidity, so I was unsure of storing my salt this way without it clumping up. I must say, this is SO much easier! I empty salt from the bag into this container and then it's always on my countertop waiting to be used. The inside of this container is glazed so the salt doesn't stick to it. The lid is a little more loose-fitting than I thought it would be, but that doesn't seem to affect anything too much. It's a nice design that is aesthetically pleasing. I'm not sure if it's the container keeping my salt from clumping or if I just use it quickly; either way I'm happy with this product.I do wish it came with ANY kind of product information... There was no insert or anything discussing care instructions like if it's dishwasher safe or how to clean it. The exterior and the entire lid are a bit of a rough texture so a typical kitchen sponge could get snagged on it.

I've been using this Salt Cellar, and it's a functional addition to my kitchen. The rough exterior provides a unique, earthy texture, while the glazed interior ensures it’s safe for storing salt or spices. Washing it was a bit of a guess, but dish soap and water seemed to do the trick. It holds salt well and adds a rustic charm to my countertop.
