Love this salt lamp nightlight. Excellent quality not cheaply made. Comes with an extra bulb. Soft warm glow and attractive container for salt pieces. After receiving this product I ordered another one.

In have mine Himalayan lights on at all times, day and night, they suppose to be to get the benefit of negative fighting the positive ions. The warmth is the initiator of negative ions from I understand so putting an LED light the cold light bulb in it is not going to generate the benefit. The light bulb should be within the recommended wattage. It is very pleasant light, and I recommend it.

It is beautiful and has a nice, warm-colored light, just as I had hoped for. However there is a feature that allows the whole bowl of salt crystals to be spun/repositionsd *while* the light is plugged in, allowing the crystals to be dumped out very easily!!! This feature is probably meant to accommodate a variety of outlet positions or something. And if you have a nice, quiet home where you can keep breakable things at kid height, this feature probably won't affect you at all! But I have 5 small children, and wanted to put this next to the sink and hand towel in the only outlet in my entire bathroom. Now I am worried that my kids will dump this thing all over my floor while washing and drying their hands. I wish there were a locking mechanism to prevent the spinning feature. (Or that it just didn't spin at all.)It is beautiful and I am going to keep it and hope it doesn't get dumped. 😂

I spent way too much time trying to decide on a lighting solution for my bathroom. I hate turning on the light at night but the night lights I liked were around $30. Honestly I didn’t want to spend that much.I liked this one because of the price and the bulb wasn’t exposed. I read the reviews and was afraid that it would get too hot. It really doesn’t. It gets warm but not hot. The lights underneath my cabinets get hotter than this does. And it looks great in my bathroom.

Okay, I've had the product for about a week now. It looks good. Perfect as my bathroom nightlight. If I had a plug in the hallway I would have it there. It would work in any room in the house, which I am considering.I don't know much about the salt rock, but I've heard good things. I will give another review when I have it a bit longer.

Good product if you're planning on it just being ornamental, but if you plan on actually using it, it's awful. Started out great, but then we noticed the pieces of salt flaking and eventually disintegrating into compete powder - pictures attached are AFTER some cleaning. Also upon further inspection we noticed burn marks and/or rust on pieces of salt and the metal. Not a Himalayan salt expert so I don't know if it's the moisture in the air (although we don't live in a super humid climate), heat from the light bulb, or a combination of the two, but all the variants of this product are useless messes at best and fire hazards at worst. Changed to LED bulbs in hopes that the lower heat will help, but who knows... Even if it does, certainly shouldn't have had to do so in the first place.

I used this for a bathroom night light. I like having an on switch. In my mind the salt crystals clean the bathroom air. Also it emits enough soft light that I use the salt night light and a few candles and it creates a relaxing atmosphere at night in my apartment

Updated review:After 3.5 months of use, the light bulb went out. Replaced with the new one that came with in the package. Working well again.----------I have recently purchased 3 different salt night light from 3 different companies. This is the best one among these three. Only this one really makes the room smell good. I'm using it for my bathroom and it works wonderfully. Really great product, will buy again if I need more salt night lights in the future.
