WAY better than the super long (and annoying) antenna that comes on the radio. A lot easier to carry on the hip without poking into your body.

This antenna gives great reception to my work radio. Incoming and outgoing talk is clear. It's kind of flimsy. This antenna does NOT screw securely onto the base and needs to be tightened after being moved around in a bag or handled often.

The seller and product are great, I have these installed and they are working fine. However, Amazon repeatedly sent me the wrong product (with the correct product name on the sticker) which had clearly been mis-labeled at some stage. Contacting the seller allowed them to provide me with the correct product, but the overall experience wasn't great.
