I finally had a chance to test these out today. I used them on a Ryobi 18v cordless sander and on a plug-in Dewalt sander to sand pine 2x6 and 1x8 boards for a project. I purposefully changed pads for each board rather than sanding everything with 60, then 120, etc. I wanted to see how the discs stayed on after removing them half a dozen times. They did great. I have no complaints, other than the fact that I may not use the really fine grit discs (like 600+ grit). I rarely sand anything over 240 with an orbital sander, but at least now I have pads if I decide I need to at some point. I have no problem recommending these discs for normal use.

I have only use one for a short time, but it seemed to work as it should. The "hook and loop" backing grabbed my sanded pad well, with no issue. So far, pleased with the results.

I got the 40-600 Mixed Grits assortment on this one. I debated between sets, whether to get the one that went all the way up to the max or to get the one that was more limited, but eventually decided that rationality was the better way to go. I probably won't ever need anything higher than 600 in reality. It would just sound nice to have it.This set only has 5 sheets of each grit, but it gives you so many grits to choose from. The basic ones like 80 and 120 won't last me long, but on ones like 400 that I didn't have otherwise, 5 sheets are more than enough to last me for when I happen to need them, and give me that flexibility that yes, I can just reach for them right now, I don't have to wait a few days to order a whole pack.No issues with these fitting my Makita sander. They gripped fine, released easily, didn't tear, and didn't wear out quickly. Overall I'm very happy with them, and I will certainly consider getting other sets as well at this price.
