Great quality abrasive: I sand plastic so i compare it with other sandpaper for plastics:-these sandpapers are durable-you can wash away sanded material quite easily-sanding marks for lower grit are pretty mild-sponge didnt break before the sandpaper dulls

These sanding sponges are great for detailed work, especially in tight spots or on curved surfaces. The silicon carbide abrasive holds up well, and the sponge backing makes them easy to grip. Great for any small sanding projects!

I am used to big, blocky sanding sponges, so these are a nice change. The sponge backing is thin and flexible enough to allow easy reach into curves, and even the 320 "fine" has enough cut to ease a sharp edge on an aluminum receiver and easily relieve a spot where the trigger housing can't slip past a too-tight grip. These are going to be handy all around the house, although in retrospect an assortment of slightly coarser grit would be more generally useful in my situation. But that is a "me" issue and not an issue with the sanding sponges.

These sanding sponges have been a game-changer for my recent painting projects. The variety of grits included is quite helpful, making them versatile enough for everything from rough sanding to prepping between coats and even the final polishing stage. I love that they can be used wet or dry. Another highlight of their functionality is that you can clean and reuse them, which is a huge bonus and also a step in the right direction for sustainability. The size is perfect for handling, and they really hold up well without losing effectiveness after heavy use. Overall, if you’re looking for efficiency and variety, this set has it all.

You get five grits, and four of each grit. I like that each color corresponds to a particular grit, so they are clearly marked and easy to tell apart especially when wet and sanding. The abrasive quality of them seems adequate, and they should last a reasonable amount of time. One thing I did notice on the 3000 grit straight out of the box you can already see it appears it has had some grit loss on the corners. That being said any sanding block is going to degrade as you use it, And this probably happened rubbing against the inside of the box during shipping. One set of higher end sanding sponges I've used most recently come with the corners literally cut off, so it's hard to make a comparison. The sponge is adequately firm for doing most hand sanding operations, and helps hold water when doing wet sanding. I've used these to do some wet pre-polishing on acrylic and they worked very quickly and effectively at removing saw marks on the edges.Overall these seem to be a pretty good quality sanding sponge at a reasonable price.

I love things that make my life easier and these do just that. I do a lot of projects that require sanding , this is a nice assortment of sanding sponges that can be used more than once. My most recent project was putting a layer of epoxy resin over coasters that were made of marble and wood. The coasters did not have any kind of coating on them and they fell apart where the wood meets the marble. I decided rather than just gluing them together then sealing them I would simply use epoxy. Well simple it was not, normally this is an easy project, this time I used new epoxy and it did not cure right. I tried to do one coaster 5 times and each time I had to sand it down for one reason or another and start all over fresh. This last time I almost gave up, there were little dimples in the resin, I am assuming they were from air bubbles that popped right before the resin cured. I would usually sand it all down and start over but this time I decided to take a lighter approach and try these sanding sponges. They worked well, I was able to even out the resin with out scratching it. I planned on pouring a thin layer on it but I think I can get away without adding anymore. These really helped in smoothing out the imperfections without damaging the finish, the resin is still shiny and I am very happy with the results. These can be used in all kind of diy projects. They can also be reused several times. The sponges are easy to hold and use. You can fold them to get into hard to reach areas or to contour corners.IncludesFine- 320 grit x 5Extra Fine- 500-600 Grit x 5Ultra Fine- 1200-1500 Grit x5Super Fine- 800-1000 Grit x 5Microfine- 3000 Grit x 5

I tried this sponge set for a few DIY projects, and I’m really impressed with the quality and range of grits included. The assorted set provides five grit levels (320, 500-600, 800-1000, 1200-1500, and 3000), which makes it incredibly versatile for a variety of sanding tasks, from rough to fine finishes. Each sponge is durable and easy to grip, measuring 3.94" x 4.73" (100mm x 120mm), which is the perfect size for detailed work. The abrasive surface holds up well, and I've been able to use them repeatedly without the grit wearing down too quickly. They work great on wood, metal, and even some finer detail work on painted surfaces. The flexibility of the sponge allows for smooth sanding on curved or irregular surfaces, which is a bonus.Overall, this set has been a fantastic addition to my workshop, covering everything from prep work to finishing. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a solid range of grit options in an easy-to-use sponge format!
