The mechanism on this movement is encased in a white, plastic, removable shell. The movement measures 2- 1/8" L x 1- 7/8" W x 1- 1/16" H. When fully wound, it plays approximately 2-1/2 minutes. It has 18 notes to provide a nice range of tones. It winds from the bottom and a gold-tone, 3/4" L winding key with a 9/16" stem is provided. This movement plays "Amazing Grace".

The product is well made and arrived ahead of time. The only problem I had was it was not amazing grace as labeled and ordered. Outside of that would buy from this seller again.

It is driven by a spring, and works well. At this mechanism, the price is reasonable.
