My fireplace wall looks finished now. The wood looks like a heavy wood mantle but it's actually hollow and light weight. Very easy to install and gives the wall a finished look. Love it and recommend it highly!

This mantle fits just right above our fireplace. It added the perfect touch to our great room area. For the first time, I was able to hang stockings over a fireplace for Christmas. It now serves as the resting place for additional decor. It was easy to assemble and hang. The quality was worth the price.

This shelf came well built, and very attractive.Attaching of the shelf was her easy and we quickly were able to hang it over our inset electric fireplace. It is sturdy and its depth adds charm to our fireplace look. Completes it with a size that is compatible to our fireplace and the wood grain look is beautiful. Would strongly recommend this light weight, yet sturdy and scratch resistant shelf to everyone.

More support hardware was included than other similar items when compared. Straight forward installation (no trouble for handy person) Two person job to be sure it's level. Having a mantel shelf for pictures, etc. where there was nothing really helped the look of my living space.

I needed something for above the gas fireplace. This fit perfectly. The wood grain is nice. The edges are a little too squared off for my liking but I'm happy with it. I would recommend this for the price.
