Eigentlich war ich ja sehr begeistert von den geringen Abmessungen des Saxophonständers. Doch leider muss ich nach 4 Monaten feststellen, dass sich der Steg für die Auflage des Instruments nicht fest arretieren lässt und dadurch mein Saxophon ohne Berührung schon mehrfach heruntergefallen ist. (Siehe Foto mit Markierungen) Nur durch schnelles Eingreifen oder ein Fallen gegen ein nebenstehendes Sofa könnte Schlimmeres verhindert werden.Ich würde das Gerät gerne zurück geben. Denn so ist es für mich nicht nutzbar.Für die Kompaktheit gibt es einen Stern. Ansonsten müsste ich noch Punkte wegen der Sicherheit abziehen.Schade. Gut gedacht ist leider in diesem Fall schlecht gemacht.

Wer Ständer ist ein echter Mist. Bin sehr traurig, das ich hierfür mein Geld bei Amazon gelassen habe. Der wackelt wie ein Entenpopo und man muss Angst haben, dass das teure Saxophon runterfällt. Das wäre ein Alptraum. Habe jetzt einen neuen gekauft, der sein Geld Wert ist. Das Ding nimmt noch nicht einmal mehr Amazon zurück. P.S.: Keinen Stern zu geben, ging leider nicht. Der eine Stern ist somit erzwungen, damit ich meine Bewertung erledigen konnte. Soll ja nicht jeder meinen Fehler wiederholen.

Do not buy this garbage. It’s terrible. Probably the worst product I’ve ever bought on Amazon, and I’ve bought a lot of stuff that ended up being junky.First off, it doesn’t even properly fit a Tenor Sax like it says it does. The cradle isn’t wide enough.It is also very, very poorly manufactured. Mine came missing a bolt/nut, and the holes don’t even line up. (I’m guessing that’s why it was missing a bolt; they probably couldn’t get one in there because of the misaligned holes). The push button locking knobs don’t work at all. They go down on an angle and don’t even depress enough to move the legs. The materials are also garbage, and it smells like a gas station.But wait, here’s the best part... It is incredibly unstable and nearly flipped when I was trying to place my $6k sax on it. It started tipping over and I grabbed it just in time. I had it wrapped up and ready for return within 60 seconds of that happening.I will be buying a proper stand from a reputable company. It isn’t worth risking damaging your sax just to save a few bucks. IF I COULD GIVE -(NEGATIVE) STAR REVIEWS, I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS A -2 STAR RATING. It is that bad. Save yourself from the trouble of having to return this piece of scrap metal and avoid like the plague.If anyone has any questions please contact me. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to buy this thing.

I wanted to buy a Hercules stand but I saw this one for a cheaper price , worth the money guys, it’s sturdy , easy to fold and put away in bag. holds my sax pretty well!

I received the stand yesterday and found I had to modify it to make it more stable. The major problem that I felt the stand had was the spring push button that holds the upright part of the stand to the base when you unfold it. It is basically the only thing that keeps your Sax from falling over. The spring push button had a lot of play and seemed very flimsy, only holding from one side.I pulled out the spring push button and drilled out the hole through both sides, and put in a pin I had laying around. Basically this fixed the stand. It still folds and is super stable.I also put some more foam on the yoke part that holds your sax bell. when I put the horn in the stand the metal part was basically touching the bell. I'm sure scratches and such would follow.I also super glued on all the rubber caps onto the metal holder rods. they would fall off when I took the horn off the stand.All in all I like the stand, it was good when it came, but it is much better now.

this stand is pretty sturdy and folds up neatly . did have to use a different screw on the adjustable bell section, but no problem.so im using it for a alto sax and its a little sloppy inside the holder. good thing it has the rubber strap to secure it in place. its not as tight as i would like and think its better suited for a tenor sax.
