One tuner was a bit stiff and I hoped it would loosen up with use. It got harder to turn months later. As these are such “high quality” as stated in the ad, I thought for sure they would have at least a one year warranty. I contacted the seller twice with no response. No warranty from Schaller for an Amazon seller. Great tuners. Buy them from a real music store, not from these no service after the sale bozos.

The tuners come with a very small number on each one. It’s supposed to tell you the order to install them, but the numbers go through 8, and I got two 5s. I only Have six strings.There were no directions in the box. That was disappointing. Otherwise, sturdy, hold tune great, and SUPER easy to change strings.

Now that was definitely worth $100. So superior to the locking Fenders I've been buying for 30 years. More precise tuning and somehow better tone. Not sure how that happened. Schaller from now on.

These tuners are of outstanding quality! They are smooth and substantial-feeling. Best of all, they fit my MIM Strat perfectly without ANY modifications whatsoever! They are well worth the price and a totally worthwhile upgrade for any stratocaster guitar. All pegs and holes line up perfectly and you only need a wrench or pliers to tighten up the nuts. Absolutely excellent product!!!

Wow. I spent way to much money on other locking tuners only to come back around to the German made Schallers. I learned my lesson that is for sure. These particular "F Series" locking Schaller tuners are thus far in my experience the best locking tuners that there are for Fender guitars. These are much better than the Fender brand "Schaller" locking tuners. The Fender brand are made in China by Ping. If you remove the tuners from almost any new Fender guitar you will see "P.W.". Those are Chinese Ping tuners. Some people are fine with those which is fine. I myself have never had good luck with those. They always slip no matter what. These German made Schallers do not slip at all.

Simple installation on my American Pro Strat. As well as in my American Telecaster, and on my MIM telecaster. These machine heads are awesome for keeping in tune, easy string changes and great appearance. What more can be said.
