I bought these for my 8yr olds first year of tackle football, all except for the thigh pads were flimsy and easily got bent out of shape even in the girdle. I wouldn't buy these again just based on the fact they are thin and flimsy, I've bought some in the past for my oldest son when he played and they were of a thicker foam that did not lose it's shape...I can't remember what brand (it was white though)

I am only giving these 1 star because I have to and the thigh and tail pads feel normal, but the other 4 pads (hip and knee) are terrible. They are thinner than our other set of pass and already separating from the snap plate and we JUST opened the package! i really hope the return policy isn't too much of a hassle!!!

These are more of a dark gray color but they look fine in white Bike football pants. The snaps are really hard to put on at first but after a couple uses they snap on and off easily ones broken in. Work as needed and can be easily hand wiped clean.

good quality product, comes in a zippered mesh bag for storage. Looks great with his black football uniform.
