This calculator is perfect for my 8th-grade son who schools online from home. He has had multiple boogie boards in the past and used them, but I had never seen one attached to something like a calculator before. The calculator works well and can be clearly read. The board is a little harder to see and needs more direct lighting to see clearly, but both the erase button and built-in pen work well. We haven't come across a single issue with this unit's calculations. It has a ton of great functions that will be useful as my son gets deeper into this year's math lessons. I will update my review if I run into future issues, but so far we are very happy with this product.

This is a basic scientific calculator with a limited number of functions. For example, it doesn't perform integrals, differential equations, matrix, complex numbers, etc. The instructions lack detail on how to perform the various functions this calculator will support. It appears capable of hexadecimal conversions yet there's nothing in the documentation that explains how to do this.I like the LCD writing tablet. I'm not sure how practical this feature is for most users, but it's something that makes this calculator unique. There's button you can press that erases the tablet's contents once you need a fresh slate.

This scientific calculator is a fantastic addition for my kids’ needs. They are incredibly easy to use, also their accuracy is commendable. The buttons are responsive, making calculations smooth and efficient. The build quality is solid, ensuring durability over time. This calculator has truly made math assignments and problem-solving sessions more manageable and less daunting for my kids. This calculator is very small and lightweight, and can easily store away. The only issue I have is the LCD screen is a bit small, sometimes it’s hard to see what’s the number on the screen, other than this minor issue, everything else is great, it's a perfect tool for my kids.

God this for the small calculations I don't feel like doing in my head at work, but what is great is that I can also take notes on the side as well using the built in stylus. As my oldest gets closer to high school, this will be great for the more advanced math classes as well. It is sleek and easy to fit into a pocket as well.

I do woodworking and laser engraving so I need to math out cuts and such every once in a while and this helps me visualize it while doing the calculations. It came packaged just fine with no defects that I could see. Getting it out you get the calculator with the drawing surface. I used it on a couple of cuts and it let me visualize and note what I needed while doing the math. If you are a visual person like me this is a great little calculator.

Calculators are pretty common and inexpensive, so I was quite surprised by this one and its unusual features.First and most prominently, it has this large notes screen on the side. You can see that in the photos, and I assumed it was a notepad of some sort. It is not: it's an actual screen that you can write on with an included stylus! That's why the text visible in the picture is green and the background is black - that's really the way it is.The screen is electronic somehow, because the text cannot be erased by hand and makes no actual physical mark on the screen itself. Instead, there's a reset button underneath the normal calendar buttons that blanks the screen. The manual warns that any notes there will also be lost if you replace the battery, so, I guess having text there requires electrical power to keep it visible? The calculator itself is somewhat standard for a scientific calculator - most of its functions and key layout seem vaguely familiar to other scientific calculators I've used. The display has two lines, one for the operation you are entering, and the other to display the result. The manual is extremely scanty. I've had scientific calculators where the manual was far larger than the calculator itself, this one has just one page. It's assuming you know what you're doing mathematically and can work out the rest on your own, so, this might not be the best student calculator.Considering the unique and advanced features of the calculator, the manufacturing quality is shockingly poor. I found that the off switch would not work (not a big deal, as it turns off automatically after a few minutes). Also, the stylus, which is needed to write on the notepad, is stuffed into the side of the calculator as you'd expect - but there's no clip or enough friction to keep it there, so it'll slide out and get lost as soon as you pick the calculator up.I feel like this calculator has much to recommend it, if you can figure it out, and certainly offers excellent functional value for money. But a few minor improvements, and a much more thorough manual, would make it even better.
