This is a magnetic speed sensor, on my truck it fits into the top of the rear differential, not the transmission. I was looking for the transmission speed sensor with the hope of getting my truck to shift into 4low. 02 ford ranger edge

I bought this while troubleshooting an issue which ended up being something else. I was having a bouncing speedo issue and shifting issues. Put the old one back in and it worked fine. DO NOT BUY. junk1995 f250
