The drain holes are covered in order to use this which means if you have to use this in the rain your optic will be filled with water and throw off your dot since water bends light. Do not use this cover. Lives depend on it. The Trijicon RMR can easily handle the beating anyone can dish out. You can throw the optic as hard as you can in the air onto concrete and it’ll function as if nothing happened. This only protects against cosmetic damage like scratches and even that is very well protected with the amazing cerekote on the optic.
