No frills dash panel to install an aftermarket stereo In my 2013 focus. Very easy to install and looks factory. I chose this one over the Metra panel because the last metra one I bought just looked cheap. This one looks seamless with my existing stereo and dash bezel components. The small plastic piece that’s designed to go around the 4” factory sync screen doesn’t install well, but it’s not a big deal for me as it looks fine without it. Really like this kit and it’s also cheaper than the metra alternative.

TL:DR: Yes this can work with the Alpine ILX-W650, but you're gonna have to do a little more work or make a compromise. The final product isn't 100% perfect but comes really close and is the best option available IMO. At the end of the day, I'm pleased with it. Hope this spares someone from the issues, confusion, and frustration I experienced!Picked this up for my Focus to use with the Alpine ILX-W650. The Metra kit was recommended but I'm glad I did my research and found this one because it looks way better and there are no annoying bright lights or goofy buttons or anything. The installation did not go without a struggle. After spending hours trying to hook the stereo up to the parking brake (don't do it! buy the bypass 100% and save yourself hours) and finally getting all the behind the scenes work done, I put this together excited to see the project all come together, only to be completely disappointed when I finally did find a bracket combination that worked, because it looked goofy as hell due to the huge gap at the bottom exposing tangles of wires. That was after I had tried all kinds of different hole combinations. I was super frustrated and genuinely considered taking it all out and returning everything, because what's the point in a nice stereo if it looks terrible in the dash? I came here to ask what holes people used to get this to work or if I'd have to drill new ones. The manufacturer and another individual replied saying no additional holes needed to be drilled, but that ended up being only partially true. Here's how I figured it out. For THIS STEREO, the Alpine ILX-W650, the holes just don't work out. I discovered that using certain top holes that didn't have a bottom hole in the bracket that corresponded with my stereo (shown in the pics), I could get a pretty good fit, actually probably as good of a fit as possible. Really the only option was to use those and drill new bottom holes. I made some measurements and went at the brackets (as can be seen in the pictures) but after a while, just wasn't making progress as I didn't have the appropriate drill bits or the time to get the job done. Instead, I decided to just crank down super hard on the top bolts and call it a day. So far I've had no issues and even tried to push way harder than I ever would on the bottom of the stereo and it doesn't budge. I think this is actually partially due to the bottom edge of the stereo resting just slightly on the surface of the dash kit underneath the screen. So I was finally done and it works out and I'm satisfied, although it's not 100% perfect. There's a very slight gap at the top of the stereo now which I tried to pick up in my pictures. It's not too annoying as you can't see any wires or anything, but in the right light the mounting flange of the metal brackets are slightly visible, so if this would be an issue for you I'd suggest covering them in some black electrical tape before installing and that should fix it. Other than that I'm not sure if or how I want to fill that gap. Maybe I'll figure something out eventually, but like I said it's done, I'm satisfied and overall pleased with the final product.PS: Other minor issues include vents not clipping in perfectly (they're still fine though), the vent wheels rub the edge of the outline (the sound/feel isn't necessarily annoying at all and even sounds like it might be designed to sound/feel that way, but it's still a design flaw), and the little 4-inch screen adapter falling out during installation (carefully superglued it from the back; worked perfectly). Things like this are why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4; looks good at the end of the day but a lot of little improvements could be made.

Like most people I chose those over the Metra because it looks so much nicer. It is way worth the few little issues.I had read reviews about the air vent parts falling off - mine were loose but also not going anywhere so this may be a quality check problem or they’ve tried to correct it.I’d also read that the lock button had issues fitting correctly. Mine snapped in easily and is clipped in totally secure without modification on my end. So again they may have fixed that.My only slight finish issue is a little too much gap on the passenger side vent piece which you can see in the photo. However it’s not on the driver side and I can’t see it from there so I’ll never know.My particular head unit fit perfectly with no gaps on any side.10/10 would buy this again and highly recommend it.

Love the way it fits overall. Great material and nice fitment. The only thing I dislike is that the sync screen on Ford does not play well with another headunit and I waisted my time trying to maintain sync. It stayed on 24/7 and drained my battery. Ended up just removing the fuse and keeping it blank.

This fit so much better than the Metra one. It even has dash lights that match the interior. Takes a bit of adjustment to get it right. I still have a bit of a gap around the face. I am probably getting some foam to seal from the inside. There is only so much you can do with the brackets and mounting holes.

I bought this to replace my dash and get a new stereo in my 2013 Ford Focus SE Sedan after my stock radio totally crashed (darn you Ford!). Best Buy included installing this with their free install and they didn't seem to have any issues. Fits my car well, looks good. I would give it 5 stars but 6-8 months later and the door unlock/lock button seems to be giving me issues.
