UPDATED REVIEW: For some reason the first couple times I used these lenses on sunny days the lenses barely darkened. I was initially very disappointed in these lenses. Now that I've used them more the transition from clear to dark is much more noticeable and seems to work as advertised. Not sure why they didn't darken the first couple rides with them but now they are great for sunny days and night riding. I pretty much leave these on all the time now.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was expecting the lenses to darken enough for a regular sunny day but realistically I think these are a bit too dim for that to be comfortable. I will still continue to use them but probably only for dusk or dawn rides where it’s dark at the beginning or ending of a ride.
