This screen did not fit my HO Elitebook 845 G7. The laptop cable did connect to the 30 pin cable properly, however the connector on the screen is about 1/2” too far to the right and the laptop cable does not have any slack to stretch that far.First picture shows the new panel description and you can see the orange laptop ribbon says “g7 840 REV: A”.The second picture shows the new screen by the laptop cable and the old screen below it. The old screen’s 30 pin connector is about 1/2” farther left than this screen replacement.After I took off the old screen, I see the HP part number is “L72970-J91”. Either this screen is incompatible with this part number, or the connector was placed incorrectly on the new screen.

Perfect Lcd no ded pixels good quality this tired eyes can't tell the difference between original to this replacement. The lcd was well packaged. Installation is a breeze about 15 minutes ones you have the old one removed, just make sure you dry fit (without provided silicone strips) the lcd to locate Perfect placement.

LCD was packed very well and fit right into the HP elitebook 840g8. Works just as good if not better than the oem LG LCD. Also came with the double sided adhesive that attaches the back of the screen to the lid. Great item and awesome seller
