Perfect fit for my old Pac Fab/ Challenger pool pump housing. Fit fine and with a little silicone grease the gasket stayed in place while I fitted the pump into place. No more leaking housing anymore. With a round O-ring there always seemed to be a slow leak. This square cut O-ring did the trick. No leaks at all.This apparently is the type of o-ring my pump needed all along..

I have had a leaking problem between the impeller and impeller housing for years. I'd buy a new round profile gasket and the leaking was manageable. In the winter, not so much, but I didn't run the pump much. This Spring, I could not get it to stop leaking no matter how much I repositioned the two surfaces or used silicone. A pool service tech, who installed another round gasket said that I may need to replace the whole unit! I found this square profile gasket and gave it a try. It's working fine. For under $10, give it a try.

I had to replace the front housing of my pump as it had several pin hole leaks. After purchasing the new housing I installed the old round O-ring which worked fine with the old housing. It immediately started leaking. I researched why it was leaking and thought I would try this square cut O-ring. It totally stopped the leak. I am very satisfied with this part.
