This safety coat is designed to provide maximum protection in chemical handling environments. Its lightweight yet durable material ensures comfort during extended use while offering robust resistance against spills and splashes. The elastic wrist and hood provide a snug fit, keeping unwanted substances out.I can't say I've had to use it for any of these cases yet, but I did try it on and felt pretty safe! I always like to be prepared! And at the affordable price, I'll take it and save it for a chemical rain day! Will follow up when I am the last on earth thanks to this thing!

Sizing chart appears accurate (remember these are coveralls, so account for underclothinghaving the integrated booties is helpfulseams look tapes well and couldn't find leaks and decent sized storm flap on zipper adds so sense of securityWhile this was sent to me for review, I take that job seriously. Getting people the wrong product is wasteful, irresponsible and a hassle for everyone. Not everything I review gets high marks -- BTW, I live in a high sales tax state, review items aren't exactly at-no-cost for me]

I got these originally because I have a lot of dogs and I regularly spray the yard for mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks. This makes having a set of shoes and clothes that you can get dirty unnecessary. I hate having to get pants or shoes soaked with whatever pesticides I'm spraying. These are very comfortable and the shoe flap over the zipper is a nice touch. I also use them in the attic when we had to fix a copper leak in our old house. I don't have to worry about the fiberglass insulation anymore and I was able to lay across it or lean up against it as I needed to without a fear of getting poked or the fabric ripping. These are very useful indeed.

My wife enjoys making videos in her spare time, specifically short videos about zombie invasions. Seriously. Not long ago, she ordered some hazmat suits for an upcoming video shoot and when they arrived was very disappointed to discover they were beige. Not exactly the most photogenic prop for a zombie video.I felt bad that she ended up with beige hazmat suits so I ordered these for her. This is what a hazmat suit should look like. There are six in this package which gives her plenty of options as to how to deploy them. I know that they're actually for protection in industrial environments with a lot of chemicals, but I'm not going to tell that to my wife.

Six at a cost of $49.99 would be a good value.I wouldn't pay the $12.99 for one.One at a cost of $49.99 is more like what the federal government would pay and a terrible value.I will definitely be contesting the value. These are good. I have used many of them over my years of working and these are on par. I don't know for fact that it is industry standard but in my experience the white are the lightest material and offer "some" fluid resistance but are more breathable. Blue has always been the ones that were 100% waterproof and were much heavier. Yellow always was somewhere in the middle offering good protection.I wanted these so I wouldn't wind up in a position like I was in last weekend. I went to visit my son 2 hours away and wound up with transmission problems. It was an easy fix, for now, changing the fluid and filter, but I didn't have any extra clothes and surely no work clothes and knew I would get the ones I had too dirty to wear after. I had to pick up some of the white "painter's" overalls at the local big box store. Those can typically be one time use and cost as much as each of these in the 6-pack would.I would order the 6-pack to have a pair in my emergency roadside kit, leave a pair at my son's for me or him to use, and have extras in my shop at home and, unless I was doing something extremely rough on them they would be good for another use like crawling around under the house, something I'll be doing in the next day or two.Good product.Good value for a 6-pack.Terrible value for 1 at 6-pack cost.

(Update: Was just doing wiring in a crawlspace today, and this product was great. It is thick enough I didn't worry about tearing, and it actually did exactly what it was intended to do. I didn't end up covered in dirt or insulation fibers. And I liked that my shoes fit inside the footies with ease. Made it so I could move, or slide, around without any problems. Well worth the money.)Previously I reviewed a Hazmat suit that was very good. The problem was the feet were tiny and squished mine for its given size. This one not only has a standard zipper, but a sealable flap that goes over the zipper - more important for hazardous situations than it is for my use.The feet are huge and I can wear my moccasins inside the footies. The height is a little short for the girth, although being a larger circumference allows me to bundle up and still fit in the suit. I really like that I have room inside to shift around. Restrictive clothing while working in a crawlspace makes life much less enjoyable for me. I tried this out and I was able to squirm in all sorts of different directions without any trouble.I much prefer this coverall to the one I already reviewed. But keep in mind that at 5'9" I would not have wanted to go with a smaller size than X-Large. With this I could add 40lbs and still fit, but I likely would not be able to grow a few inches and still have the freedom to move that I currently have.At $10 each they are a good price and are well made.
