I needed some larger size cleats for my dock at my house. These arrived fast and were in perfect condition. They appear indestructible. I am using them to tie down my 29’ Four Winns with 1/2” dock lines. Use 5” stainless hardware and they hold tight on a piling. I bought some extras to use for hand holds to get on the boat. I love these things!

Appear to be very sturdy but I can't comment on durability since I've only had them installed for a month. You have to use oval headed wood screws, which it is countersunk for, unless you have access to tighten nuts below it. In the case of using hex bolts you would have to work at countersinking them if you don't like the appearance of raised bolt heads on the cleats. The SS screws I used worked fine for me.

This was easy to install with some screws we already had on hand and it perfect for the extra rope from the anchor of our kayak! Holds 50 feet of 1/4 inch rope easily! And despite it being plastic it is very sturdy.

Nice and heavy for lines to tie up to stay in place and to keep from dropping on pilings (not sure how strong they will be if a lot of weight/pressure is on it, like in a hurricane).

This seems to be well made, can't beat the price. It was surprisingly large coming out of the box...from tip to tip it's about 11 inches!
