It was a fast delivery for what it is, and it fit perfectly! Just make sure you take your time to look at the pics of the cables to make sure it has the right ends, and make sure you measure the length of the old one to make sure you order the correct length.

Perfect fit to replace the cable in my 1996 Sunbird 170 fish & ski for my 1995 Johnson 130hp outboard motor. Identical in every way and brought my shifter back to life after the black trunnion on the original cracked.

Fair price on a quality product. This fit perfectly with my old 1988 Johnson 28 SPL. Seems like the weak point on this is the same thing that broke on the old one... the little plastic nut that allows the fine tuning of cable movement on the engine side broke on the old one and allowed too much slippage in the cable and an inability to shift. This replacement also uses plastic there, so we'll see how long it lasts. But for the moment - a perfect fit for my old motor and smooth, positive shifting now.
