I have already sent a heads up to Amazon that my "brass" gear is magnetic, and suspect that it is brass plated steel.After installation, I noticed that my seat rocks back and forth (1 " at top of seat) due to no filler bushings between the sides of the gear and the gear housing. When it gets warmer, I will go back and fashion a nylon stuffer bushing on both sides.Yes, I would purchase again, since all the metal offerings seem to be about the same, but as some others have indicated, be forewarned that one may need to be mechanically minded to make it work and have tools to alter / make parts.

The gear can not be used with the motor pictured. Will not work with 5709790 N3 2269. Amazon issued credit for return.

Works perfectly, however there are no included instructions. Therefore, good mechanical knowledge and a well stocked toolbox is essential to complete this project.
