These socks are a nice cotton blend with good elastic because I don't like loose socks. I've included a pic so you can see the designs, how they came in the box and also how high up they come.I wear penny loafers to work a lot and struggle to find socks that are warm and yet thin enough to wear with loafers, but won't make my shoes too tight. These are great for that. They're thick enough to keep your feet warm but should go with most shoes (thickness wise)I like that they have a compression band around the arch. I got the 6-9 set bc I wear a size 7. As usual they're a tiny bit big for me because I run on the lower end of that scale but its ok. They fit great anyway I think.I really love the designs. Cute but not "too cute" for work.

When I read that they were athletic socks I was anticipating a slightly thicker cotton type sock however when I received them they were much thinner. I did get these socks specifically to wear with my boots but they felt more like a dress sock as my foot just slipped right in to and out of my boots. I only had them on for about an hour so I can’t say whether or not they will work and not give me blisters since they are that dress like sock material.While it looks like an athletic socks it is definitely not an athletic sock. It’s not what I wanted but I can still use them.

CUTE!!! Judith here! I love these soft, thin socks for wearing around the house on days when it is a little chilly. They are comfortable, and true to size. I was surprised because I usually have to order men's socks. But I gave these a try. Even for my large feet which are wide. And the feminine colours are NICE! Fun to finally find some socks in women's colours that I can wear and enjoy. GREAT GRAB!!!

I felt they were too stretchy; they are tight around the calf. I expected them to be a 100 % cotton.

Nice cotton socks. They are tight and stay in place. The colors are nice. The band around the middle of the foot feels good. The socks washed up well and have not fuzzed up while wearing. Good quality socks. Recommend.

While nice looking, these socks are not what I would consider athletic socks. They are not thick and cushiony, which in my opinion is what athletic socks should be. These are thinner, like a pant sock and tight fitting, the cuffs cut into my legs making them uncomfortable for me to wear.

These socks are pretty thin, so they're perfect for wearing when you exercise or for sports. They go up to nearly halway up my calves, so if you prefer shorter socks, these aren't for you. I prefer longer socks, so I loved these! They're really cute (I got the pastel versions) and feel nice to wear!

I’m not sure these are actually 85% cotton. I got socks with high cotton blend because artificial fabrics make my feet stink. I can only wear these socks for a few hours without the stunk starting.That said they do fit well and don’t scrunch up. The colors are well saturated and don’t bleed in the wash.And they are really cute! Wish I could wear them to work but oh well.
